Dr. Salem is Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki. He supervises master and doctoral theses and acts as Reviewer for more than 20 international peer-reviewed journals. He has also served as Board Member at the University of Helsinki and organised several International Scientific Meetings. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading, writing and sport.
